Marva-Jo Tate a Hayward, California resident entered into rest January 17, 2004 in Rancho Cordova. Born in California on January 13, 1941, she was 63 years of age. She loved to sing and dance. She worked at Cal State Hayward. Loving mother of Tan-Yel Tillman of San Jose, Joseph Tate, Jr. of Lathrop and Tyrel Shelton of Sacramento. Dear sister of Andrea Lewis of Richmond and Calvin Elam of Sacramento. Devoted grandmother of seven grandchildren.Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 2004 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Monday, January 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the MIssion Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.'Service of Marked Distinction'
