Martin Vasquez Resident of Hayward, CA April 10, 1925 – September 24, 2015Martin Vasquez passed away on Thursday morning due to natural causes. He touched many lives with his gentle spirit. Martin was born in Del Valle de Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico. Martin served in the Navy during World War II. After the war, Martin worked as a Diesel Truck Driver. He enjoyed camping, traveling the world, and making new friends. It was not uncommon to see Martin engaging in a conversation or helping others. Martin is survived by his loving wife, Carmela, extended family, and many loved ones. His generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, September 28, 2015, 5:00-9:00 p.m., rosary at 7:00 p.m. and funeral service and burial on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of The Chimes Funeral Home.
