Martha Caples' Obituary
Martha Luise Caples Mar. 3, 1920 – Feb. 4, 2010 Resident- of Newark Caring and devoted mother of Kris Reed, Tom and Gerry Caples, and loving spouse of Hal Caples who preceded her in death in 1985 after 27 years of marriage. Martha’s many interests included gardening, cooking, jazz, history and feeding her backyard-feathered friends. Martha will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward 94544 (510) 471-3363. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in Martha’s name be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 8286, Fremont, CA 94539.
