To know her was to love her, to be in her presence meant she’d make you laugh. She was blessed with her Grandma Rosina’s beautiful red hair that many admired. Her favorite times as a kid were weekends, she and her sister Alicia spent with their Grandma Rosie singing oldies in the car. She was known for being silly, and playful, often talking in different accents providing plenty of entertainment to her loved ones. Her mother would always say she could be a movie star. She enjoyed singing, dancing, making TikTok videos with her kids, and baking – her brownies were unmatched! During the years her baby sister Isabel spent in the ICU, she admirably helped care for her sister with so much love, without any hesitation. It was how she began to dream of being a nurse. Anyone who knew Marrisa would agree, that she was caring and nurturing by nature, always put her family first, she loved her kids more than anything in this world. She held her nieces, nephews and God-children dear to her heart and she remained loyal to her family and friends.
