Mark Joseph Doyle's Obituary
Mark Joseph Doyle was born June 8, 1929 to John E. and Elizabeth in Ryan, Iowa. He was raised there and following graduation joined the USMC. Returning home he married Elaine McEnany and had sons Ronald, Patrick and Steven.Mark started work at the Ryan Grain Elevator and then managed elevators in Manchester and Independence. A divorce in 1964 led Mark and the boys to CA and a new career in foam packaging. He married Rose Fleming in 1968. During their many moves Mark’s knowledge of the foam business grew until he decided to go out on his own. From a one saw storefront in Hayward, CA in 1976 the business grew exponentially until 1985 when Steve stepped in as President of Foam Distributors Inc – which is now in an 80k square feet facility. Subsequently, Ron became CFO in 1987. Mark was immensely proud of having his sons manage his legacy.At age 56 Mark & Rose retired to a country club lifestyle in AZ, where Mark could golf daily. He returned to CA in 2010 after Rose passed away and lived at the Carlton Plaza in Fremont until he passed on May 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lorraine, brother John. He was survived by sisters: Betty, Dolores, brothers Larry (Jolene) and Jerry (Kate), sons, Ronald (Carole), Patrick, Steve (Roxelle), Grandchildren: Brian, Stephanie, Stacie, Jill, Chris, Adam and Nicholas,Great-grandchildren Anthony,Mercury, Marissa, Jake, Molly, Thomas and Imajen
