Mark (Marco) Anthony LaVenture Jr., 33, Hayward, passed away at 2:37 p.m., Monday, Oct.30,2017, while incarcerated in Santa Rita Jail. Marco was indeed one of God’s strongest soldiers. From a young age his journey was very trying and he was tested with a large amount of adversity.Marco was born Jun. 05, 1984, in Hayward, California. When Marco was just 22 years old he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. While incarcerated, he was determined to earned his G.E.D and worked around the clock to earn money for himself. He enjoyed working out and reading. He had dreams to become a Public Speaker in confinements around the world and influence troubled teenagers in group homes. Marco had a genuine soul and a helping heart and was focused on turning over a new leaf. By overcoming his hardships with a devoted, loving, caring heart he fulfilled his destiny here with us.Marco decided his battle was won, He received his call, sort of an offer he couldn’t refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This mission comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with his family he has not seen in a long time. The job security is exactly 110 percent. His new assignment takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, dancing, gardening and reading to his heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed!Marco left detailed instructions for his family to celebrate his new mission.Marco is survived by his parents Traci Gonzales and Mark LaVenture of Hayward; His sister Amanda Gonzales-Davis and his brothers, Michael LaVenture, Tymell Ealey, and Joseph Ealey. He leaves behind his daughter Melina LaVenture. He is also survived by his grandma Roseann and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
