Marjorie Hill's Obituary
Marjorie Lillian Hill Feb. 20, 1917 – March 14, 2009 Resident of Hayward Marjorie passed away peacefully at the San Leandro Healthcare Center late Saturday night, March 14, 2009 at the age of 92. She was preceeded in death by loving husband George E. Hill. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Margie Lee Swezey of Castro Valley, son Charles Hill of Pleasanton, Ca, and grand-daughter Melanie A. Swezey of Claremont, CA, as well as many other family and cherished friends. Marjorie was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She had lived in Hayward for 55 years. Marjorie was involved with Girl Scouts and Cub and Boy Scouts in the Hayward area and also enjoyed gardening at her home. Marjorie was an avid bowler at Holiday bowl in Hayward and enjoyed traveling to Reno and Tahoe with her friends to try her luck at the slots. Marjorie’s smile and zest for life is embedded in our hearts forever. At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society in the name of Marjorie L. Hill. Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
