Mario C. Cuaresma, 36 passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at his home in Union City, California. He was born on January 9, 1965 in the Philippines. He has been a resident of Union City, California for 2 ? years. He has been a resident of Alameda County for the past ten years and prior from San Diego, California where he was stationed in the U. S. Navy. He loved to jet skiing, basketball, traveling, camping, football, playing video games, running/jogging and working on his computer. He served in the U. S. Navy from February 1988 to October 1994.He is survived by his ex-wife of 14 years, Elizabeth Cuaresma of Union City, California. His very loving parents, Hulda and Benjamin Cuaresma of the Philippines. His beautiful Children, Arielle I., Benedict A. and Angelo B. Cuaresma from Union City, California. He also leaves behind a host of sisters and brothers, Gundelina Barraquio of Florida, Evelyn Cuaresma-Dayota of Tokyo, Japan, Emmanuel, Leonilo, Benjie, Jr. and Arthur all of Canada, Raul of Hayward, Henry and Hector Cuaresma both of San Diego, California.Family and Friends are invited to attend Visitation on Monday, August 20, 2001 from 3:00 - 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home and Wednesday, August 22, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home - Reflection Chapel; 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church; 32223 Cabello Street, Union City, CA 94587.
