MARIE MORIARTY's Obituary
Resident of Castro Valley was born to James and Maisie Sewell in Blanchard, OK. She was preceded in death by her former husband, William Moriarty, parents James and Maisie Sewell, siblings Clifton, Nora, Jack, Bessie and James, sons George Douglas Lewis and Joseph Moriarty, grandson Mark Moriarty and brother-in-law Leo Moriarty. Survived by her sisters Inez Seifert and Wanda Billings, sister-in-law Yamile Moriarty, loving mother of Marilyn (Ted) Christman of Livermore, Diane (Frank) Cerros of Pleasanton and Michael Moriarty of Castro Valley. Adored Grandchildren Christina (Shannon) Casha, Brian (Wendy) Christman, Maricella Garcia, Melissa (Brett) Ecoff, Michael (Ruby) Moriarty, Carrie (Steve) Delight, Frank Cerros Jr., Joe Moriarty and Matthew Moriarty. Daughter-in-law Maria Moriarty. Cherished Great-Grandchildren Clint, Brian Jr, Jenavieve, Olivia, Leo, Sophia, Evangeline and Brett Jr. Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Marie has been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since 1954. She was proud of her Choctaw Indian heritage. She loved people and enjoyed working at J.C. Penney's until her retirement. Marie Loved her Family and Friends Dearly and We Will Forever Miss Her. The viewing will be held on Thursday June 6, 2013, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at Chapel of the Chimes Mission Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544. On Friday, June 7, 2013, the final viewing will begin at 9:30AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 166 W. Harder Rd, Hayward, CA 94544, followed by the funeral service at 10AM. Burial will follow the funeral service at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544.
