Marian Louise Petri's Obituary
Marian Louise Carlson Petri, 92, of Oakland passed away on Tuesday. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Henry Petri, who passed away in December of 2006, daughter Carolyn Petri Alonso, and brother Andrew Carlson. Surviving family members include her son Charles Petri and wife Karen, daughter Beverly Petri, son George Petri, son Richard Petri and wife Martha, son-in-law Fred Alonso, grandchildren Brandon Petri, Heather Petri, Michael Alonso, David Alonso and wife Ginger, Christina Petri, Lauren Petri, great-grandchildren Benjamin and Chloe Alonso, brother Edward Carlson, sister Eunice Carlson and sister Ruth Carlson Ewing. Marian was a wonderful Christian wife, mother, homemaker and friend to many. She and Roger faithfully attended Plymouth Brethren gospel services at the Palmetto St. meeting room in San Francisco. Friends are invited to services on Monday, February 11 at the Tower Chapel in Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. Visitation begins at 12:00pm with the funeral service following at 1:00pm. Flowers may be sent directly to the Tower Chapel for morning delivery.
