Maria Clara Turner's Obituary
Born July 1, 1930 in Cavite City, province of Cavite, Philippines. Passed away May 4, 2005 in the presence of her children. Preceded in death by her parents Tito and Julia Garcia Vasquez. She is survived by her husband, James E. Turner and her children; Carmelita Hazelbaker, Raymond Gilbuena, James Gilbuena, Richard Gilbuena, Marie Gilbuena, Daniel Gilbuena, John Gilbuena, Charles Gilbuena, Julia Gustafson, Josephine Cheng, Steven Gilbuena, thirty-one grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.With the strength and courage of taking care of ten children by herself, she is remembered as being very thoughtful, loving and giving. Often would be seen at her sewing machine, designing new clothing. Had created and sewn many shirts and outfits for her children and grandchildren over many years. Loved to holiday decorate, cook, garden and go fishing. Active member of the White Shrine and Easten Star, Past Matron of Amaranth and their community activities.
