Maria Preciado's Obituary
Maria De Jesus Preciado, 78, most recently from Union City, passed away Thursday May 17, 2012 on a Cruise to Alaska.She was born May 11, 1934 in Tapalpa Jalisco, Mexico. Daughter of J. Jesus Preciado and Maria Dolores Garcia De Preciado. She lived there until approximately 1961 where she moved to Guadalajara Jalisco, and started raising her three children as a single parent. She had many jobs there until 1977 when she decided to relocate her family to San Jose, California in hopes of giving her children a better life. She was successful at this. She started Chuy’s Day Care Center until 1992, when she retired and moved to Union City. She lived at Rosewood Terrace Senior Community Center in Union City. Even though she had been ill off and on for a few years, lately she had set out to do some of the thing she had only dreamed about, including the beautiful cruise to Alaska where she was having a lot of fun.She is survived by her three children, Maria Rolon, Oscar Lepe and Nacho Preciado. Along with their spouses her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
