Maria, a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), passed away on June 16, 2024, in Sunnyvale, California. Born on March 6, 1957, in El Salvador to Miguel Sanchez and Ernestina Chicas, Maria touched the lives of many through her selfless work in elder care. Maria enjoyed trips to the farmers market, walks in the park, hikes, and nature. She lived her life in the most positive way.
As a CNA, Maria provided comfort, companionship, and essential care to seniors, embodying kindness and empathy. Her commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others was unwavering. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service.
Maria was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit. She was a generous, loving, supportive and an unselfish woman who always put other people before herself. She was charitable, giving, considerate and extremely patient. She was the heart of her children, and she will be dearly missed.
Maria is survived by her loving children, who will forever cherish her memory. Her impact on their lives and the lives of those she cared for will be remembered with gratitude. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Crystal Castillo, George Castaneda, Isaiah Castaneda, Gia Castillo, Viviahna Armas, Valentino Castillo, Vicente Armas.
