Margaret Kamaka Wahilani's Obituary
Margaret Kamaka Wahilani, 66 passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2001 at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California. She was born on July 29, 1935 in Na'alehu, Hawaii. She has been a resident of Hayward, California for over 35 years. Margaret graduated form Pahala High School in Na'alehu, Hawaii. She was married to the late Lawrence Ho'ohokulani "Buckwheat" Wahilani on May 5, 1955. She is survived by her sons, William Manuel of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Larry Mahealani Wahilani of Union City, California, John Kalani Wahilani of Hayward, California and daughters, Lolita Martinez of Keaukaha, Hilo, Hawaii U'ilani and La Vern of Hayward, California, brothers, George Manuel of Na'alehu, Jokin Manuel of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and sister, MaryLou Nakao of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. She also is survived by grandchildren, William & Welsin Manuel of Oahu, Hawaii, Summer, Tamara, Larry, Jr., Windy, Isaiah Wahilani and two great-grandchildren, Faith Hau'oli Wahilani and Kaleo Solomon.Margaret Kamaka Wahilani was affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints of Hayward, Second Ward and the Kaulana Na Pua 'O Hawaii.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2001 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and a Funeral Service on Thursday, August 23, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. both at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home - Mission Chapel with Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544.CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK & FUNERAL HOME - HAYWARD, CA (510) 471-3363."SERVICE OF MARKED DISTINCTION"
