Margaret Velles' Obituary
Margaret Mary Velles June 10, 1928 Aug 23, 2011 Resident of Hayward Margaret Velles passed away peacefully Tues. evening at her home surrounded by family at the age of 83. She was born and raised in Hawaii, where she met the love of her life John Velles married 64 years and had 3 children. They moved to California in 1957. She retired from United Can after working there 19 years. Margaret is survived by her loving husband John; devoted children Clement Velles (deceased), Charleen Nixon and Richard Velles, five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also survived by her sisters Betty Souza, Anita Belles, and brothers Clarence Drose, Benjamin Drose, and Steven Drose and many nieces and nephews. Her gentle loving spirit will be missed by all her knew her. Family and Friends are invited to a visitation, Mon., Aug. 29, 2011, 6-9pm and a funeral service on Tues., Aug. 30, 2011, 1:00pm at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd Hayward, CA 94544 510-441-5562.
