Margaret Fay 'Granny' Ewing a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Stanton, Texas on February 9, 1910, she was 92 years of age. She was a charter member of the Church of Christ in Hayward, California. She was also a very loving mother of four children and affectionately known as 'Granny' to 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed having company, crocheting and gardening. Loving mother of Peggy Cooper of Hayward, Susan Ewing & Don Hedglen of Concord, Jim & Beverly Ewing of Castro Valley, and Tom & 'Sam' Ewing of Orland. Her husband of 61 years, Judge Ewing preceded her in death in July 1993. Her parents Sallie & John Allison along with 8 brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Monday, October 21, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home with Internment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
