Margaret Mary Cohagen's Obituary
Margaret M. Cohagen, a resident of Fremont for 41 years, entered into rest in Hayward on September 22, 2002. She was born in Sherwood, North Dakota on October 15, 1917; she was 84 years of age. Margaret was a consummate, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. An avid bowler, champion bridge player, she enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Parish in Fremont, where she taught C.C.D. for many years. Margaret was a substitute teacher with Fremont Unified School Dist. for many years.Her loving children, Karen McConnell and her husband, George of Brighton, MI, Cathy Dawson of Fremont and Mark Cohagen of Reykjavik, Iceland, survive her. Dear sister of Cathrin Connor of Borger, TX. Caring grandmother of 8 and three great grandchildren.Her husband, George Cohagen and an infant son, her daughter, Christine Cohagen and her parents Christian and Mary Budke preceded Margaret in death.A memorial mass will be offered at 9:00AM, Friday, September 27, 2002 in the Old Mission San Jose of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539. Interment will be private in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Hayward, CA.The family appreciates memorial donations to the Sister John Marie's Pantry, P.O.
