Margaret E. Brown Dec. 13, 1921 – April 27, 2007 Resident of Concord Margaret E. Brown passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 in Pleasanton, CA. She was 85 years old. Margaret was born in Albany, OR, and has spent the past 61 years in Contra Costa County. She enjoyed many of her friends at the Safeway plant in Richmond, CA. There she had a career for 16 years as a pre-packer. The remainder of her life was spent as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, George G. Brown of Concord; her son, Alfred A. Brown and wife, Irene of Pleasanton; daughter, Jane Ellicks of Pittsburg; seven grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. The services will be held the following day Monday May 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
