Margaret (Weltz) Black a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Friday, May 30, 2003 in Hayward. Born in Martinez, California on May 14, 1924, she was 79 years of age. Margaret worked for the Castro Valley School District for 30 years as a Braille transcriber. Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Blue Bird, Campfire girls, 4-H as a leader and as a volunteer. She was a volunteer at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward. She also was a foster parent.Dearly beloved wife of Robert 'Jim' Black for 58 years. Loving mother of Sharon Thomas of Castro Valley and Alan Black of San Jose. Devoted grandmother of four grandchildren.At her request no services will be held.Arrangements made by Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
