A loving Mother, Grandmother and Loyal Friend.
Marciana was born to Victor and Elena Corip in the Philippines on March 15, 1944, and passed away July 12, 2022, in her home in San Leandro, CA.
Marciana came to the states in 1973 after meeting her husband of 39 years. She began her career as a housekeeper and seamstress; then a homemaker and a business owner known as Pierson’s Photography for 20 years. She raised 5 children and became “Mom” to so many more.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jerry Lee Pierson in 2012. She is survived by her children Victor Lee, wife Lisa and their three children, Vanessa, Vincent and Baylee of Tracy, Ca. Her daughter Jerrie Lena, husband Jason Mincey and their two children, Samantha and Shawn of San Ramon, Ca. Her son Charles Herman, wife Jessica and their six children: Cruz, Cannon, Cade, Elliot, Crogan and Carver of San Lorenzo, CA. Zwei Anthony, wife Vickie and daughter Kimberley of San Leandro, Ca as well as Drei Thomas Pierson of Jefferson City, Mo.
Marciana was well known at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in San Leandro, Ca where she attended regularly and made Rosaries with the Ladies. She loved to camp, travel, and drop those pennies in the slot machines when she had the chance to. She was the queen of Christmas Eve and loved being with her family every chance she could.
A service of Remembrance will be held September 1st, 12:30-2pm in the Reflection Chapel at the Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA which will be her resting place next to her husband.
