Marcia Marie Voge's Obituary
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Marcia Voge, 77, on January 19th after a tough battle with dementia.
Marcia, known also as “Tia” by her family, was born on September 8, 1946 to Robert and Evelyn Couch in Oakland. A long-time employee at the Oakland Airport for almost 50 years, Marcia retired in 2020 and enjoyed her time surrounded by her family and her two cats. Marcia was an avid sports enthusiast and loved cheering on Bay Area sports teams especially the San Francisco 49ers. Marcia was very close to her family and a huge part of their everyday lives from the big celebrations to attending school events and soccer games. Marcia was beautiful inside and out and showered everyone she met with love and kindness.
Survived by her two sons John and Chris, sister Pam and brother-in-law Mitch, grandchildren Leland and Aria, nephews Jason, Josh and niece Jill. Marcia was predeceased by her parents Robert and Evelyn.
No services will be held, as Marcia requested a small family gathering; She is interred at Chapel of the Chimes alongside her parents.
Tia, you brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing you. You will be deeply missed. Rest in peace and know our hearts will always be with you.
