MARC EDWARDS's Obituary
After a brave battle with cancer, Marc William Edwards died on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Dublin, California at the age of 39. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Edwards, and their 2-year-old daughter, Lyla Edwards; and his brother, Stephen Edwards, and his wife and children. Marc was born on November 12, 1975 in San Jose, California to father David Edwards and mother Nikki Edwards, who predeceased him. A Bay Area native, Marc grew up with his brother Stephen in Fremont, California and lived in both Fremont and Dublin. Marc attended high school at Mission San Jose in Fremont, and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He worked for 15 years as a Financial Analyst at Lockheed Martin Corporation. In his free time, Marc enjoyed cars and sports, and was a lifelong fan of the 49ers. He dreamed of one day owning a Ferrari. Marc and his wife enjoyed annual trips to Disneyland, and loved to vacation in Hawaii. Marc will be dearly missed by his wife and daughter, and family and friends, who will forever keep him in their hearts. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 4:30pm to 9:00pm at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, California. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the same location.
