Manuela Santos Manuel a Newark resident entered into rest Monday, November 26, 2001 in Fremont. Born in the Philippines on January 1, 1913, she was 88 years of age. She loved to sew, crochet and cookLoving mother of Delia Saguilig and Carolina Pastoral both of Newark, Sam Manuel of Alameda, Solomon Manuel of Angelo, Texas and Ninoy Manuel of Union City. Dear sister of Felicidad Melchor, Felisa Pascual and Genoveva Santos all from the Philippines. Devoted grandmother of twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Wilfredo Manuel her son and Mariano Manuel her husband for 35 years preceded her in death.Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2001 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Reflection Chapel with Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.'Service of Marked Distinction'
