MANUEL GALAMGAM ROSAL's Obituary
Manuel Galamgam Rosal May 15, 1941 – Dec. 4, 2013 Resident of Union City Manuel Galamgam Rosal passed away peacefully in Union City at the age of 72. He is survived by his devoted wife Edna Baclig Rosal of 46 years of marriage; four sons Ronnie, Robert, Ryan and Raymond; seven grandchildren Ronnie, Alyson, Rosalie, Mary Rae, Reynalyn, Major and Luvee; brother Eugene and sister Virginia; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Manuel was born in Dardarat, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur to deceased parents Aniceto and Ignacia Rosal. He migrated to Guam in 1963 to join his father and later moved to California to continue his education in El Centro where he acquired his fluency in Spanish. Later on, he continued his education in Hartnell College in Salinas. In 1968, he started his own family in San Francisco. He acquired his knowledge of photography and passion for arts in Academy of Arts Institute in San Francisco. He had his first job in San Francisco and took various jobs in the Silicon Valley. In the last few years of his life, he worked in Las Vegas and retired at the age of 64 in Union City. Manuel’s enjoyment of life included worldwide traveling, love for his grandchildren, love of photography, music and arts. Visitation at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
