On Palm Sunday, April 14, 2019, Manolo Salvador Carcamo loving husband, father and grandfather was called home at age 71. He has two children, Oliver Carcamo along with fiancé Joanne Flores, and Michelle Carcamo Wong along with husband Jonathan Wong. Manolo has three lovely grandchildren Rachel Carcamo, Pre-Med at San Diego State University; Samuel Carcamo, freshman basketball player at California Highschool; and Noah Wong in 2nd grade who was Manolo’s Golden State Warriors game watching buddy.Manolo was born on August 5, 1947, in San Mateo Rizal, Philippines. He was the son of Agapito Carcamo Sr. and Catalina Carcamo and one of nine siblings. He studied Business Administration at University of the East in the Philippines.Majority of Manolo’s relatives are located in the Philippines. Locally, he has two nephews, Gil Funesto along with wife Marcia and daughter Maegan; and Bobby Funesto along with wife Georgia and children Chloe and Bryan.For a total of 51 years, he has been with his loving wife, Minda. Manolo and Minda were known by their friends as “Bonnie and Clyde”. Usually when you see one the other will follow. Manolo adored his wife until his end.Manolo was an avid music lover and collector of Beatles albums. He was a competitive Latin dancer and as well as an impressive drummer of The Earls band in the 70s. He was also an entrepreneur at heart owning different businesses throughout his life such as a Graphic Printing Co., L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, and M&M Interior Design Co. He loved home remodeling and design and he recently completed construction remodel on his own at his home.His journey has ended on earth but his eternity is with Jesus in Heaven.Psalms 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
