Mannling was born on July 7th, 1938. She worked as a middle school math teacher and was committed to give the students the best education. She taught for 25 years before retiring. She was married to Shih Bey Chen and welcomed her two sons, who were the most important part of her life.Mannling was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother, who never failed to put family above anything else. She was a responsible and hard working person. She was always caring to the people around her. In her later days, she would often dance at the senior center, and even put up performances for others to enjoy. Mannling passed away with the Buddha’s name in her mind, and she is now in Pure Land. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her. The funeral will be on March 31st, at 9:30 am. It will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes.
