Our cherished father, Major S. Sawaddi, peacefully passed away on April 24th, 2025, in San Jose, CA. Born on December 10th, 1930, in India, he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.
He is survived by his loving son, Sarbjot S Duley, his devoted daughters, Balwinder Hothi, Surinder Sadhu, and Sukhwinder Athwal, many grandchildren, and extended family and friends. Dad's unwavering dedication to our family was the foundation of our happiness.
He embarked on a lifelong journey in agriculture as a farmer, embodying the true spirit of hard work and resilience. His hands nurtured the land, much like his heart nurtured our family.
His Sikh heritage was an integral part of his identity, guiding his actions with faith and humility. His empathetic nature and generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. His resilience through life's challenges taught us the value of perseverance and compassion.
We will forever hold his memory close, cherishing the lessons he imparted and the love he shared.
