Madeline S. Lopez's Obituary
MADELINE (MIDGE) LOPEZ, died peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2001 at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward, CA. She was born October 10, 1919 in Lowell, Indiana and moved to California Bay area in 1943. Madeline was an employee of Pacific Gas & Electric for 31 years retiring in 1978. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton C. Linse in 1967 and later by by her husband, Harry G. Lopez in 1991. Friends and family admired her for her knowledge and love of all sports. Madeline remained very loyal to the Oakland A's and Raiders. Until her last week of life, she was an A's booster club member and season ticket holder, continuing attending games. She was known to many as a dedicated volunteer in the Senior Nutrition and Activities Project of Hayward. Madeline is survived by her two children Judith DePanni of Rhode Island and Bill Linse of Pleasanton, California. In addition she has six grandchildren and three great-children.Friends are invited to attend a Funeral service Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
