Madan Dipabima Basnet, 71, of San Mateo, CA, passed away April 22,2019.He was born in Ilam, Nepal on April 10, 1948. Madan Dipabima Basnet graduated from Ilam High School and received BA Undergraduate from Tribhuvan University. He was married to Shiva Basnet.Madan Dipabima Basnet had a career in the Music Industry as a music composer/writer/singer.He was a member of National & Local Musical Organizations and had a passion for music, choreography, writing, video direction.He was survived by three children, Mridula Mool, Mamata Blon and Markendey Dipbim, grandchildren: Pryatna Mool,siblings: Mahesh Basnet, Mangesh Basnet (brother), Muna Sapkota, Menuka Basnet.Funeral arrangements will be held at 9 am, April 25, 2019, at Reflection Chapel.
