Mable Silas' Obituary
Mable was born February 5, 1926, late in the afternoon in Liberty Texas on the Trinity River. She was number seven of twelve children. Mable’s surviving siblings are Rosie Espree-Broussard and Joyce Bates. Mable met the love of her life Tommie J. Silas in Houston. They were married on June 7, 1943. Tommie and Mable soon moved to California in 1945 where they were blessed with six children: Jean, Tommie Jr., Anthony, Angela, Andrea & Alesia Marie. Mable celebrated 49 years of marriage until Tommie’s passing. Mable was comforted by her growing family that flourished with 12-Grand Children, 11-Great Grand Children & 6-Great Great Grand Children.
Mable was a loving faithful wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, cousin, friend & neighbor to all that knew her.
At the blessing age of 98, Mable was surrounded by her loving children when she was called home on the 21st day of April 2024.
