Lyle Keith Stanley's Obituary
Lyle Keith Stanley, 87, a resident of Fremont for 40 years, entered into rest at Washington Hospital in Fremont on Wednesday, August 14, 2002. He was born in Newton, KS on February 14, 1915. He retired after many years of employment with Granny Goose Foods. He was a member of, and deacon of Church of Christ in Fremont. He loved his family, church and fishing, all of which were important in his life. He enjoyed telling a good joke.He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Billie J. Stanley of Fremont. Loving father of Claudette Ewing and her husband, Marv of Canyon Lake, CA, Janette MacLaughlin and her husband, Bruce of The Colony, TX, Lylette Roberts and her husband, Gary of Palmdale, CA. Caring stepfather of Brenda Casci and her husband, Pete of Pinole and Jerry Hayes and his wife, Laura of Mesa, AZ. Dear brother of Gertrude Bogart of West Covina, CA. A caring grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. His first wife, Elaine Stanley, preceded Lyle in death.Family and friends may visit on Saturday, August 17, 2002 from 12 noon to 4:30 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Sunday, August 18, 2002 at the Church of Christ, 4300 Hansen Avenue, Fremont, CA 94536.
