Lyle Gregory Decena a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Saturday, May 25, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Oakland, CA on August 14, 1950, he was 51 years of age. He was a Retail Clerk for 33 years at Safeway Grocery Store. He was born and raised in Oakland. He graduated from Pacific High School in San Leandro in 1968. He loved bowling, golfing, race horses and baseball. He played semi-pro baseball. He also was on the Ameiature Circuit and bowled a 300 game during league. He was a vast collector of guitar's. Loving father of Alisha Decena of San Leandro, John and Isolette Decena of Citrus Heights, CA. Dear brother of Josette and Dave Hall of Clear Lake, Randy Decena of Manteca, CA. Devoted grandfather of one granddaughter, Sophia Decena. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial service Saturday, June 1, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
