Lydia Tillman's Obituary
Lydia Tillman, 90, a resident of Hayward, California, passed away on November 13, 2023. She was born on November 30, 1932, in Cabanatuan City, Philippines, to Onofre and Mary Regala. Lively, independent, and remembered for her quick sense of humor, Lydia lived a full, rich life on her own terms. She worked for over twenty years as a nurse at the Masonic Home for Adults and was also devoted to her church, where she served as a longtime deaconess. Lydia's family was vitally important to her, and her generosity of spirit naturally extended to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she all treasured. She loved to visit her family members and many friends, and she took pride in her houseplants and garden. Whether attending church, spending time with her loved ones, or running errands, Lydia always ensured that she was dressed nicely before leaving her home. She was preceded in death by her daughter Susan and her husband Jack. Lydia is survived by her son, George, son-in-law Eddie, grandchildren Sharolle, Rocky, Andre, and Jo-Ann, great-grandchildren Sebastien, Liah, and Samanntta, and her dog Jackie.
