In Loving Memory of Lydia Alfonso Dicolen November 4th 1927 – November 18th 2015Lydia, 88, peacefully passed away surrounded by family. She was born in Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Loreto Alfonso and Rosario Caparas. She now joins her beloved husband, Dominador C. Dicolen, in heaven.Words cannot express our gratitude to her for nurturing us to become the best we can be and to place our faith in God. She taught us to value education and hard work, and always helped us find joy in life. She showed us what it meant to be loyal and patient. She gave us the treasure of family. Most of all, Lydia taught us how to love. Although brokenhearted, we take comfort in knowing that we have one more heavenly angel guarding us.Lydia is survived by her children and spouses; Dom Dicolen Jr., Antonio (Marie) Dicolen, Salvador (Alvina) Dicolen; 4 grandchildren, Teresa, Andrea, Renee, and Jasmine; 3 siblings, Romulo, Francisco, and Violeta Alfonso.
