My Early Years:Luz had a loving Family, both loving and caring Parents, Brothers and Sisters. She was the eldest of nine siblings of the Aganda Family.In her school days:In Grade school, she studied at Pilillia Elementary School. In her teens, she studied at Pilillia Academy High School. After high school, Luz was accepted to Feate University to attend college in Quiapo, Manila, Philippines. Luz was motivated by her family and was a determined person to help other people that she took classes as a Nursing Assistant, where she accomplished and obtained her degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant.First Job After Graduation:Luz is a very hard working woman. She established a Logistic Trucking Company in Juan Luna Manila, Philippines, and named their company GALACLAR Transport right after she worked as an Office Manager in a company called Leading Services, Inc.. The company was named after their five children with Aniceto Maranan. Luz also owned and managed a convenient store at her hometown.What Luz Enjoy During her Free Time:Luz has a “Green Thumb”. She was passionate and had a love with gardening, planting varieties of fruits and vegetables. She adores and loves to babysit children even not her own, she especially loves to babysit her own grand kids. Luz also loves to read books and magazines and especially watching her Filipino soap opera. Luz had a strong religious faith and a follower to God. She loves and gives her time to God by going to Catholic church every Sunday and whenever time permits.Favorite Vacation:Luz had been to many different places but her favorite places to go is Baguio in the Philippines and Hong Kong. Along with her favorite places to go to is the Church in Quezon City, Philippines, Christ the King, The famous Baclaran Church in the Philippines, St. Mary Magdalene in Pilillia Rizal, The Holy Family in Las Pinas, Philippines and here in California is the Assumption Church in San Leandro and lastly, Carmel Mission Basilica Church in Carmel.The Place where I am most at Peace:At home with her family, being with her husband, children, grandchildren and her friends and relatives. She also finds peace when she’s in a fish pond farm and especially in her own garden.A Life-Changing Moment:Luz found her soul mate, true love and married Aniceto Maranan. It was a life-changing moment for Luz when she had their five wonderful children, Angelito, Gerald, Clarisa, Allan and Mark. When she became a Grandmother to her children’s children, she cherished every moment with her grandkids every day of her life.A Wonderful Family Experience:Every time she goes to see her parents she know that they prepared her favorite food such as Siomai, Bola-Bola and her Mom’s favorite BBQ.My Career and Civic Accomplishments:Business owner of an Import/Export Logistic Trucking Company, Floral Business, Convenient Store owner in Pilillia Rizal, Philippines. A member of Daughters of Isabela at BF Homes where they owned a beautiful home in Las Pinas City, Philippines.
