Dr. Leon made such an impact on my life in the short time I knew him. I am saddened that I am unable to share my journey with him, but know that his legacy lives on through his presence and wisdom. He was a champion for the oppressed and I will miss his unique perspective in and out of the classroom. He was a powerful agent for change and he made a difference in the lives of so many.
