Luis Coronel's Obituary
Luis A. Coronel Saballos passed away on January 26, 2019 at the age of 86. Luis was born in Managua, Nicaragua to the late Matilde Saballos and Jose Coronel. He graduated from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua (UNAN) – Leon, where he earned a doctorate in pharmacology and chemistry. He immigrated to the United States in 1982 to join his mother, sisters, and their families where he provided a happy and stable home for his wife and children. Luis loved his family dearly and was very proud of his children’s achievements. Their successes can be attributed to his never-ending love, guidance, and support. In his retirement years, Luis enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, discussing current events, spending time with his family, and recounting his life experiences. He was a dedicated husband and father who will be deeply missed. Luis is preceded in death by his sister Melba. He is survived by his wife of forty years Yadira; children Maria, Linda, Jose, and Berfalia; grandchildren Armando and Navin; sisters Teresa and Sofia; brothers Santos and Jose Manuel; and many nieces and nephews.
