LUIS CHAVARRI Luis Chavarri, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Thursday, December 21st in Hayward, CA. Luis will forever be remembered as a beloved husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished brother and uncle, and devoted friend to many. Luis was a 27 year dedicated employee of St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, CA. He will be especially remembered for his fondness of books, a passion for learning, and affection for his native country, Peru. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 27th, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m. at the same location, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Rd. in Colma.
