Lucille Ruth ManningOur Beloved Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2017 with her family by her side. Lucille was born on December 7, 1925 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Clarence and Bertha Neukirchner. Lucille married the love of her life, Floy E. Manning on June 3, 1943 in Oklahoma. She then moved to California to begin her life with her husband who was in the military. They were married 52 years and had three daughters. Lucille loved to play the piano, sing and dance, especially line dancing. She was a very strong feisty woman and that is what kept her fighting till the end. Her smile was infectious and her stories were memorable. She left an impression on everyone she came across. She loved to spend time with her family. She loved watching her Grandkids and Great Grandkids play their sporting activities throughout the years. The last year she made her home at St. Francis Extended Care in which she gained a whole other family that took such wonderful care of her. Her last few weeks were spent eating all her favorite foods, talking about her favorite past time memories and spending time with her family. Lucille is preceded in death by her Husband, Floy and her oldest daughter, Theresa Spingola-Bermudez. She is survived by her brother, Edrell Neukirchner and wife, Loretta. Daughters, Marilyn Manning, Judy and husband Mike Grill, and Son-in-law, Will Bermudez. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
