Luciana Romero Chapman a Fremont, California resident entered into rest Tuesday, January 7, 2003 in Fremont. Born in Bacolor, Philippines on January 7, 1934, she was 69 years of age. Luciana was born and educated in the Philippines. She spent 43 years in the United States and worked for the San Francisco Unified School District serving meals to our elementary school children for over 20 years. Luciana was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She is also survived by a very special niece, Cecilia Villagomez who is only 7 years younger and were raised in the same home like sisters.Dearly beloved wife of Frank Chapman for 18 years. Loving mother of Raymond Chapman of Fremont, Frank Chapman, Jr. of Rodeo, CA, Richard Cahpman od Tivuron, CA, Ralph Chapman of Fremont and Joseph Chapman of Hercules, CA. Dear sister of Lucing Baluyut of Tracy, CA. Devoted grandmother of five grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 12 and Monday, January 13, 2003 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. A vigil service will be held Monday, January 13, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 3600 St. Leonard's Way, Fremont, CA. Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward."Service of Marked Distinction"
