Luceria S. Bustos' Obituary
On March 17, 2018 God called upon his child Luceria “Sering” Bustos to finally come home. She passed away peacefully in her home in Union City, California. During her final moments, she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren.Luceria lived a long and fruitful life. She was born on April 11, 1925 to Moises Suing and Bernardina Cunanan Guevarra in San Esteban Macabebe, Pampanga. Luceria was the third oldest of seven children. She grew up and resided in Santa Lucia, Pampanga; until she met her soulmate, Macario “Mac” Bustos, at a baptism in which they were both in attendance. Luceria and Macario’s love for each other blossomed; and on June 28, 1953, they became one. From their love and unity they had eleven children: Juanita, Lauro, Orlando, Miguela, Viviana, Dorothea, Reynaldo, Filipe, Josefina, Nikolas, and Valeriana; where they all resided in the humble home that Macario built in Paguiba Masantol, Pampanga. There were times where life was hard and money was scarce; but through their faith in God and in each other, they were able to provide for their children. Their faith never faltered during these testing times, and because of that, Luceria and Macario were able to put all their children through college. Faith and love helped Luceria and Macario lead their children to the purpose God bestowed upon them. In turn, their faith and love multiplied. Their children were given that same faith and love to use in their very own families. Luceria is survived by her husband Macario, her 11 children, and 22 grandchildren; all of whom miss and love her so dearly.
