Luc To's Obituary
The To family Obituary
Luc To passed away peacefully on 1/9/2026 in Fremont, California, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and quiet strength. Born in Fujian, China on January 12, 1934, his life journey took him through Vietnam and eventually to the United States. Despite no formal education and being able to read and write only numbers, he built a thriving business in Vietnam through hard work, integrity, and determination. He earned deep respect from vendors and customers by forming lasting relationships grounded in honesty and trust. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sen Lam, who passed away twenty years ago. Her memory remained close to his heart. Together, they raised twelve children, inspiring them to live with humility, generosity, and compassion. He was always willing to help others, offering financial support when needed and expecting nothing in return. He cherished regular family gatherings, enjoyed playing blackjack, and loved dining out. He was the most wonderful and soft spoken father with the kindest heart that anyone could ask for. Undeterred by language barriers, he fearlessly approached strangers for help and directions, showing remarkable courage and trust in others. Above all, he was known for his kindness and the example he set-proving that true success is measured by character and the lives we touch. He is now reunited with his beloved wife and is survived by his twelve children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family, who will forever cherish his memory. We are respectfully declining to receive flowers and gifts.
