Auntie Odette is my Aunt from my Grandpa’s side, my Godmother and the Chewing Gum Queen! Was it fruit stripes or dentene?
My Aunt is my life mentor, problem solver and health counselor. I’m so sorry but I just did not acquire the taste of diet sodas or no salt food:-)
You are my confidant. I know I should have not left and just stayed. You listened to me, my heart and possible fairytale’s
happily ever after.
You will be missed forever and ever!
Thank you for spoiling me when I am with you. You know my favorites- pizza with everything on it (was it Joes Pizza?) Donuts, our trips to Disneyland and lots of Dennys, Circus Circus in Las Vegas, cruising PCH to Monterey Bay 17 Mile Drive….all the fun times I’ll forever cherished. Thank you for teaching me how to face challenges with grace. You are truly an incredible force in my life.
I will always remember you Auntie Odette, my Godmother and the Chewing Gum Queen! Was that Fruit Stripes or Dentene?
I will never forget you taking good care of me like my second mother. When I was down, you always cheer me up and ask me what would make me feel much better. You are my confidant I was never afraid coming to you for guidance or my little secrets. Thank you for buying my favorites like pizza (Joes Pizza) with everything on it, donuts, going to Disneyland having breakfast, lunch or dinner at Dennys, for introducing Circus Circus Las Vegas when we were younger, cruising Monterey Bay 17 mile Drive and Uncle Jun driving the big brown Oldsmobile that sometimes gave me a headache. (Joke)
I will forever miss you, your smile (with your pretty deep dimples) your kindness, laughter and all our memories together. I always look forward to summer vacation to come see you, Lola Turing, Uncle Jun, Uncle Mario, Doming, all relatives and friends. But sorry Auntie, I am not really into diet sodas or no salt food. I love you and I know you lived a blessed and meaningful life and will forever be missed. -Amy Martin-
Sincerest condolences to the family from Edil & Menchu Lanzador.
We worked with Odette at Wyeth Suaco Laboratories in the 70's and we will always remember her warm personality, and friendship. The last time we saw her was at the Wyeth ex employees reunion in Las Vegas in 2011 and we had a grand time. May she rest in Peace.
She was one of the kindest sweetest most generous women I have met. Whenever I went to their house she would always make sure I felt welcome and had all the toys to play with and movies to watch on tv. Thank you auntie odette. We love you.
