Lourdes Ambrosio's Obituary
Lourdes, “Ludy” Ambrosio passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017.Lourdes was born on January 9, 1937 in Manila Philippines, the third oldest of nine children of the late Gerardo and Lorenza Intertas. She attended the University of Santo Thomas where she received a BA degree in Humanities. She made San Francisco, California her permanent home in 1962 where she pursued a Masters Degree in Political Science at the University of San Francisco. She later worked for Bechtel Corporation and the law firm of Pillsbury, Madison, and Sutro.Lourdes married Vergel Ambrosio in 1968, whose work took them to Indonesia and China. They lived in San Francisco, California and moved to Fremont, California in 1980. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her husband and daughter Trish Bojorquez and her husband Tony. Her three grandchildren Brandon, Noah, and Maya Cavestany will forever remember her generous and loving devotion.Lourdes is survived by six sisters: Angie Mendoza and husband Modesto, Josefina Quiazon, Aurora Penner and husband Jon, Cora Intertas, Julie Principe, Helen Ying and husband Wing. She was preceded in death by her sister Zenaida Francisco, survived by her husband Alfredo, and her brother Gerry Intertas, Jr., survived by his wife Gloria. She was much loved by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
