LOUISE ALBERTA BOHN's Obituary
Louise Alberta Bohn (nee Helzer) left us on August 2, 2004, just a few weeks short of her 95th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Bohn (1906-1975) and is survived by their daughter, Claire Arlene Gilbert and her grand-daughter Chantal Louise Gilbert. Louise was the last of five children born in North Dakota to German speaking immigrants from Russia who came to California when Louse was 6. Louise had lived in her home across from Mills College since 1939. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, painting in oil, gardening, cooking and other crafts and looked forward to attending the Senior Activities Center at Fruitvale Presbyterian Church for many years. Funeral services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes on August 9, 2003 at 1:00pm.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Fruitvale Presbyterian Church or your favorite senior activities center.
