Louis Richard Romero's Obituary
Louis Richard Romero, 86, passed away July 23, 2023 in Fremont California. He was the Husband of Elizabeth Romero, they shared 49 years of marriage together. Born near the small town of Aguilar Colorado where he grew up in the southern Colorado mountains, he is the son of Annie and Louis Romero. He worked at the Alameda Naval Air Station as a welding shop foreman for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed his retirement and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a faithful member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church where he was also a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents Annie and Louis, wife Elizabeth and daughter Cheryl.
Louis is survived by his daughter Maxine and son Steve (Irene), granddaughters Andrea and Amanda, Grandsons Adrian, Louie, Daniel, Jessie, Juvie, and many great grandchildren. Also, from Colorado his Nieces Caroline and June, Nephews Michael, Vincent and their families.
A visitation/rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, from 4 pm to 7 pm at The Chapel of the Chimes, 329920 Mission BLVD, Hayward, CA 94544.
A Catholic Mass of Christion Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 11 am to 12 pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 37891 Second Street, Fremont, CA 94536.
Committal Service to follow at Chapel of the Chimes, 329920 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544.
Fond memories of a terrific Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle. He will be missed and his memory will be with us forever. It was not said enough, but we love you, rest in peace.
