Louis Pisani's Obituary
Louis Pisani Nov. 16, 1921 – Sept. 20, 2008 Louis Pisanoiof Fremont died Saturday, September 20, 2008 after a short illness. Louis was born in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Ferdinand and Anna Lanotte Pisani on November 16, 1921. He was a science teacher in the Hayward public schools for 30 years. He enjoyed gardening and was a Master Gardener. He loved music and played several instruments. He was a counselor at the Youngstown Fresh Air Camp for under privileged children. He was Camp Director for the Youngstown Society for the Blind. He was in the Normandy invasion of France and received five bronze stars. He was then sent to the Philippines for the invasion of Japan. His wife, Johanna Mussche, died on safari in Kenya in 1994. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sister Antoinette Pisani Cannon, and brother Roger. He leaves four brothers: Almond of Visalia, Victor of Struthers, Ohio, Fred of Youngstown, Ohio, and Ronald of Elkhart, Indiana. Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
