Louis Manha, Jr.'s Obituary
Louis M. Manha, Jr. Loving friend and father passed away in Hayward, January 4, 2003 after a short illness. He is survived by his loving friend Shirley A. Carbonero and their three daughters,Laura M. Manha of Reno, Lisa M. Sandoval of Castro Valley and Sandra A. Manha of Castro Valley; dear grandfather of Eric and Kevin Sandoval and K'Sandra Overdorf. Louis was born on February 24, 1929 in Oakland, Ca., but was a graduate of Fallon High School in Nevada. He lived in the bay area for 61 years, and served in the Korean War as a demolition specialist, after the service he was an active member of of the VFW, Moose lodge and the Elks Lodge, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and his grandchildren. He retired from AC Transit in 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis M. Manha Sr. and Doris May Manha.Friends are invited to attend visitations Thursday January 9, 2003 from 5:30 to 8:30 at Chapel of the Chimes funeral home 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, Ca 94544. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Friday January 10, 2003 also at Chapel of the Chimes.
