Louis Christensen 3/2/25 – 9/14/14Louis passed away peacefully on September 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years Grace. He is survived by his daughters Janet and Peggy (Bruce), sons Ron (Terry) and Keith (Tracy), 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.Louis was born in Antelope, Montana. Louis joined the Army in 1943 after graduating from high school and served in World War II. After the war he moved back to Montana to the family farm. Louis married Grace on March 1, 1952 and moved to California later that year.Louis worked for Crown Zellerbach for 34 years and retired in 1987. Louis was handy with his hands and could fix anything. He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, boating, fishing and being with his family.Louis was preceded in death by his parents Christian and Marianne, and siblings Christ Christensen, Mildred Christensen, Cherulf Christensen, Alma Christensen, and Alvilda Cates. He is survived by his brother Sophus Christensen, brother-in law Earl Johnson (Cathy), sister-in-law Virginia Christensen, and brother-in-law Don Fredrich.Services will be held Friday September 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, California.
