Lorraine Wisdom a Union City, California resident entered into rest Friday, March 7, 2003 in Hayward, California. Born in Hawaii on March 22, 1923, she was 79 years of age. Lorraine enjoyed being with family. She loved her grandchildren; Marc, Matthew, Charleen, Curt, Emily and Jonathon, great grandchildren; Marissa and Billie. Dearly beloved wife of Newsome "Wiz" Wisdom for 54 years. Loving mother of Catherine Lighthill of Union City, CA, Victoria and Richard Veilleux of Laurel, MD, Frances Eikeberg of Modesto, CA. Dear sister of Mary and Edward Leon of Union City, CA and Sidney Leon of Livermore, CA. Dear sister-in-law to Barbara Leon of Fullerton, CA and Arlene Witt of Long Beach, CA. Devoted grandmother of five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Friday, March 14, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. "Service of Marked Distinction". Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
